Job Description

Purpose and Scope

  • Types documents, preparing and transcribing reports, briefing notes, presentations and communications for review
  • Designs and compiles of documents and materials using standard templates
  • Coordinates office activity to ensure optimum service is provided and acted as a gatekeeper
  • Assists the manager to complete effective research
  • Maintains hard copy and electronic filing systems and other related administrative procedures and task
  • Collects and compiles information from both internal and external sources, such as press cuttings, statistical or factual material for reports and reviews
  • Updates relevant systems and electronic databases, ensure accurate and timely maintenance of administrative systems

Skills 

  • Skills- Telephone Skills, Listening, Verbal Communication
  • Essential - Good mathematical and scientific ability
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access
  • Able to type accurately at a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, procedures and processes
  • Working knowledge of databases, statistics, analytics and modeling tools
  • Knowledge of administrative and clinical workflows, including CPT coding, DRG and HCPC coding
